Re: Which is better?

Some would think that an important part of Google's success was due to its clean sober design... that gave the right value to its content

2009/8/31 Impy <wynnemail@gmail.com>

I tend to be very critical of websites that have misspellings
(unprofessional) and gaudy displays. Big clownish letters (like a
screaming red 24 points font) - yuck! Too plain and I think the owner
was to lazy to bother putting any fine touches on it. So having _not_
defined what I think looks good...ha ha...

Does anyone think that less is more? That the plainer a website - the
less interference and distractions?

Does anyone thing more is better? Bigger and moving graphics, big
screaming words - an occasional misspelled word to prove the owner of
the site is a real person?

Seems to me that class and professionalism - should be part of SEO -
at least the part that keeps the customer coming back for more?
