Problem On Google Search

Hi

I face some problem on google Search.  My company website : www.webzemini.com . When I search(after clear all browsing data) from my home or any other devices (i.e Laptop, Mobile, Ipad, Windows Mobile) with keyword "Software Company "in google.co.in, I found it on 1^st page, but in my office I could not find it on 1^st page.  I can't fix this problem. Please anyone help me to fix this problem.

Some important page is blocked by robots.txt.

My webmasters tools account has two sites that say: Some important page is blocked by robots.txt. One of the sites does not have a robots text because I read that Google does not need one if you want to allow them to crawl the whole site. i do not understand!!! This site is no different than any of the other sites... do you have any ideas?

SEO friendly Redirection

301 & 302 are SEO friendly redirection. 

301 is used for permanent redirection & 302 is used for temperory redirection.

I would have to agree with Rob on this one. i would like to add that, it would be a great idea to change site template. If its not a word press site, make it one. Word press  makes its very easy to change the look of a site, they also offer many free templates that are pretty good.

You should also come up with a logo.(helps with branding)

There is so much that can be done. tackle the first few tasks and go from there.

Multi language website

I have read some articles on the web on how to make a Website have multi language but also SEO friendly.

These are the examples they suggested:

Multiple ccTLD's

Subdirectories for every language

Subdomains for every language

But is it possible to have the website use the same url's for all languages?

Using the HTTP Header accept-language from the browser and returning the language with the highest q value.

And if the users selects a specific language from a select to use that language.

I have read someone I should set the HTTP Header 'vary' to 'accept-language' to prevent caching problems.

But I'm wondering if this method is bad for Search Engines.

I'm interested in this as well...

I would love to find a way to exclude content from certain portions of a public page, but I don't believe that exists (embedding it in an iFrame kinda works).

What I can gather from article you linked, the "googleon" and "googleoff" tags are exclusively used for enterprise content that is being crawled by "Google Search Appliance" which seems to be a google powered site search. The results aren't displayed in Google Search, just your enterprise's local site search results powered by the "Google Search Appliance".

Drinkbank.com or drankbank.com

How will Google look at the impact of a past tense vs a present tense keyword used in a URL..
DrankBank.com is not Drinkbank.com. The two are separate in what they do, yet share a similar bond that many other sites do when URL's are somewhat close in name
Maybe someday we will have a URL like DrankDrinkDrankenBank.com. Perhaps others will begin using past future and present tenses rolled into one. Hard to say if it will start happening but it is a lesson that as SEO's there are still new ideas and designs to be learned from.

What would happen if both these URL's were pointed at each other...
Would it effectively be a pair of twins born within the algorithm -
Would its page strength spiral out of control and lead to Mad organic domination?

I would love to see it... Drinks are on me! or should I say, "Dranks"

This is really cool - this person used a past tense of a word that Google gives credit for in present tense.

 

The name is Drank Bank - not Drink Bank, but it optimizes well for the word Drink.

Optimizing My Page Names

I want to optimize my page file names for Google.  What I was thinking of doing is using 301 redirects from the old page names to the new page names.  I also use Google Analytics so this change will royally mess up my traffic reports.  I was thinking of manually sending the old page names to Google Analytics so that it continues to work properly.  I realize that will make following the traffic reports harder, but it will keep everything in tact.  Also, I was thinking of starting to use a sitemap after I am done with all of this.  I already have it created but I have to submit it to Google.

Am I going about this the right way?

You don't need to use redirects for a sever change just a DNS mod.

Cleaning up the code with includes won't help seo.

And why are you moving from windows to Linux. You can use PHP on a windows machine but can't use asp.net on a linux server. You also can't use mssql. It seems like you are limiting you're options and taking a step backwards. Search engines don't care which server os you use.

As far as redirects for page moves you should use a 301 permanent redirect or 302 if it is temporary

Need help regarding my website ranking drop due to penguin update?

Hi everyone,

i have two websites related to same business and i am targeting same keywords for both websites but  last month(24th April) when Google penguin updated my 1 website ranking dropped too much before 24th April that website keywords are ranked on 2nd or 3rd page but after penguin they are not in top 30 pages.i already check keywords density and content and all remaining ON page issues all are fine.Can anybody please tell me what was  the reasons why ranking was drop of that website? any body also facing this type of problem ? now what can i do to get back that website ranking ?
