In 2 answers I have received 12 queries like this one below

These discussion groups can have thousands of followers.
When you join a group, I personally feel that you have to show the minimum courtesy of not asking to contributing people the additional burden of clicking.
What's more, for all of you who are using gmail: the anti-spam here is quite effective and usually very few spams come thru, so the added value of boxbe seems highly questionable.
If you fear to be spammed by using the group QUIT IT you are free to come, not to impose on us an extra burden.
For my part, I have now programmed a filter that will simply trash any such query... which mean that the owner of the mailbox will not receive any of the answers I make.
I think the matter is worth some discussion... but boxbe-protected group members will not receive my mails.2009/8/14 <postmaster@boxbe.com>
