for a webmaster, all u need is ur google account

u can use at webmaster tools and google analytics, they are interrelated and also integrated with adwords and adsense programs as well.

this is for analytical research for ur website(s)

and 

https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

and this is for webmaster related things, such as sitemap, verifications, search query analytics, etc etc.

linkage, crawler access, there are heaps of things u can get it better.
