Cloaking and redirects

From what I am reading about redirecting websites - that is a no no.
I'm not sure if this situation applies?

My website domain name is very undescriptive of the services it
offers. The services are pay freight bills, audit freight bills,
supply chain managment and so on. I purchased 3 domain names that
describe that and just have them forward to my original website
through the domain manager offered with the purchase of the domains.

There is no hosting of repeated content (pages) - is this the same
thing as cloaking/redirecting?
